Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Kithpace (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an Android application published by Evma Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore, on Google Play under the package name com.kithpace.app. This policy explains what the app does with information on your device. It applies to the app and to this website.

2. What we collect

Nothing. We operate no servers and receive no data from the app.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages, location, device identifiers, advertising ID, or usage statistics. We could not hand your data to anyone, because we never receive it in the first place.

There is no sign-up, no login, and no user account. The app is fully usable seconds after installation, without identifying yourself in any way.

3. What stays on your device

The app stores the following locally, in a private SQLite database that only Kithpace can read:

• The people you add — the name and phone number you choose to save.
• Which circle each person is in, and how often you want to be reminded.
• When you last recorded a conversation, and when the next reminder is due.
• Your message templates, and any notes you write.
• Your settings, such as reminder time and mode.

This data never leaves your phone unless you deliberately export it (see section 7). Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.

4. Permissions, and why each one exists

Contacts optional

Used only to let you pick someone from your existing contact list instead of typing their name and number by hand. The picker runs on your device. Your contact list is not uploaded, copied, indexed, or transmitted anywhere. You may decline this permission and add people manually — the app works either way.

Notifications

Used to show your reminder at the time you choose. Reminders are scheduled locally by your phone. They are not push notifications; no server sends them, and no third party is involved.

Vibrate

Used so a reminder can vibrate rather than make a sound.

The app requests no other permissions. It does not request location, camera, microphone, storage, SMS, or call logs.

5. Network access

Kithpace makes no network requests containing your information. It contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and no backend of any kind. There is one outbound action, and you trigger it:

• Opening WhatsApp. When you tap to message someone, the app hands a standard wa.me link to WhatsApp with the message pre-filled. Kithpace never sends the message — you do, inside WhatsApp. What happens next is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.

Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details. Google may process purchase information under its own privacy policy.

6. No cloud backup

Android’s automatic backup is explicitly disabled for this app (allowBackup="false"), so your Kithpace database is never copied to Google Drive or any other cloud service. This is a deliberate choice: your data stays on the device you put it on.

7. Exporting and deleting your data

Export. On the Business plan, Settings includes an option to export your data as a JSON file. The file is created on your device and handed to whatever app you choose to share it with. Once you share it, that file is yours to look after — it is outside the app, and outside our control.

Deletion. Because we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to delete and no request for you to make. To erase everything, uninstall the app, or clear its storage from Android Settings › Apps › Kithpace › Storage. Both remove the database permanently and irreversibly.

8. Children

Kithpace is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. As the app collects no data at all, no information about a child could reach us.

9. Your rights

Privacy laws including the GDPR and Singapore’s PDPA give you rights to access, correct, export, and erase personal data held about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to access or erase on our side. You already have direct and complete control: the data is on your phone, you can export it, and you can delete it at any moment without asking us.

Because the app has no backend, there is no international data transfer, no data-sharing arrangement, and no third-party processor.

10. This website

kithpace.com is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads, as it would for any site using that service. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs for security and reliability.

11. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes. The commitment that the app holds no user data is a product commitment, not a temporary setting.
